I hail from the great Commonwealth of Kentucky.  More accurately, from Hazard, Kentucky; a tiny coal-mining-went-bust-and-we-still-don't-know-what-else-to-do town in the southeastern part of the state.  While I will never move back to Hazard and probably Kentucky, I love them fiercely and if I ever ask you where someone famous is from or where something is made, I'll give you a clue, the answer's probably Kentucky.  As cliché as it may sound, my love for the ocean began after I first saw Shamu at SeaWorld when I was 7 or 8 and it has remained ever since.  I was originally a Marine Biology major but quickly realized that I wanted money and wasn't looking forward to Orgo, Physics, or Calculus so now I am a much happier Marine Affairs major.  I love far too many things to try to fit in this intro, but any type of music, nature documentaries with breathy British narrators, and seeing as much of the world as possible could be included.  Golfing, rock climbing, skiing, dancing, singing too loudly by myself in the car, and shopping just slightly beyond my means can also all be included.  As could road trips, amusment parks, and parties I don't remember clearly....you get my point.
